Welcome to Shaarey Tikvah

We welcome you with open arms. We see ourselves as more than just an egalitarian Conservative synagogue. We are a warm, vibrant, innovative community where members enrich each others’ lives as we join together to worship, study, engage in tikkun olam, and celebrate holidays and life cycle events. With a membership of just 250 families, we are like an extended family with lots of room for you to join, participate, and grow. We invite you to join us any Friday evening (6pm) or Saturday morning (9am) for Shabbat services, or one of our other upcoming events.

Rad 80’s Purim Celebration Needs Performers

Remember how, last year, you wished you had had the chance to be on stage with the "Hamilton" cast? Well, now's your chance to get on up there and be a STAR!!! You don't have to be a great singer to join the fun! You simply need to be available for the actual performance the evening of February 28th and a few rehearsals this month. Contact Rabbi Roland ASAP.

D’var Torah Opportunity!

Our tradition teaches that there are Shivim Panim l’Torah—70 faces to the Torah. We take that seriously, and provide guidelines and learning tools so that members can share with us their insights into the parsha (the weekly Torah reading). Our members work in academia, the arts, medicine and law, business and the trades. Their rich life experiences provide openings that consistently demonstrate that Torah is a book for all time and all people.

We welcome your time and passion as well! If you are interested in giving a D’var Torah, please contact Rick Kodish.
