As the only small Conservative synagogue in the Cleveland Jewish community, Congregation Shaarey Tikvah is more than just an egalitarian synagogue. It is a warm and caring, vibrant, innovative community where our lives are enriched through spiritual, educational and intergenerational bonding, exploring and growing. Our kehillah (community) nurtures our members as we explore, enrich and potentially transform our lives. With a membership of 250 families, we are like an extended family with lots of room for you to join, participate, and grow. It is important to us that our members have a meaningful experience and member engagement is critical to our success. Member participation enhances the congregation as a whole, even as it deepens the individuals’ connection to Judaism. We encourage those who join our community to attend Shabbat and holiday services, programs and events, and participate fully in the opportunities we offer.
