Adult Swim Shabbat | A Taste of Southeast Asia
Recently added to the summer calendar, join us forAdult Swim Shabbat (for adults only)
An evening of community, culture, and culinary exploration.
There is no charge for this event.
We’ll begin with Kabbalat Shabbat, setting the tone for a meaningful and relaxing evening together. During the service, Rena and Steve Wertheim will share stories and reflections from their recent travels through Vietnam and Cambodia, offering a glimpse into the rich history, landscapes, and flavors of the region.
Then, roll up your sleeves and join us in making your own appetizer, summer rolls—a fresh and beloved dish popular throughout Southeast Asia.
Bring your own dairy or pareve dinner to enjoy under the stars, and save room for a delicious Southeast Asian dessert to end the evening on a sweet note. As always, enjoy regional drinks lovingly crafted by Ted Einhorn, inspired by the flavors of the evening.
Come for Shabbat, stay for the stories, food, drinks, and connection.
